Virtual Public Forum for Branchville
The Ridgefield Planning & Zoning Commission invites residents and stakeholders to participate in a virtual public forum to discuss the future of the Branchville area on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 7:00 PM via Zoom.
As part of a community-wide conversation about the future of Branchville, the Commission is exploring how to support development in alignment with the 2017 Branchville Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Plan. While no zoning amendments have been proposed at this time, the Town is beginning to consider potential changes and wants to better understand the community’s perspectives before any decisions are made.
This public forum will:
Provide background on past planning efforts in the Branchville area
Offer an overview of development possibilities
Give community members a platform to share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns about growth and land use in Branchville
The feedback received will help shape future conversations about whether zoning amendments are appropriate and, if so, what types of changes might be supported by the community. This is the first of multiple sessions that will be conducted to explore this issue, building upon the extensive public input received from the 2017 TOD plan. To attend, please join via Zoom using this link.
All are welcome and encouraged to join this important discussion.
