Georgetown Community Fund
The Georgetown Community Association created the Georgetown Community Fund because we believe in the power of community. Rooted in our town’s long-standing tradition of neighborly support and strong local ties, we’re committed to making Georgetown an even better place to live, work, and raise families.
Through thoughtful fundraising/grants, partnerships, and initiatives, we aim to enhance the overall well-being and community life of all Georgetown residents. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected community for all!

Georgetown’s New Food Pantry Box
Our new Food Pantry Box on Main Street in Georgetown is officially OPEN!! The box is a simple way for individuals and families to get food assistance. It contains various nutritious, non-perishable items such as canned goods and dry pasta.
How it Works:
Take what you need.
Give what you can. Non-perishable items can be left at the “Pantry” on Main Street.
For questions, please contact us at gtowncommunityassoc@gmail.com.
This project was spearheaded by Lynn Van Wagner, supported by Georgetown Community Association and Georgetown Village Restoration, Inc., and executed by Eagle Scout Quintin Haines and scout leader Dean Santo Haines, with assistance from Easton Boy Scout Troop 66. Georgetown Day Chili Cookoff and “Grillin for a Great Cause”
GCA is the proud host of the Annual Georgetown Day Chili Cook-Off, a mainstay of Georgetown Day. NEW IN 2025: GCA’s “Grillin’ for a Great Cause” — In addition to hosting the Chili Cook-Off, Georgetown Community Association served up hot dogs, chips & pickles on a stick. All proceeds from the cook-off & food sales benefit GCA’s initiative to preserve the historic Gilbert & Bennett School.
Georgetown Day is a free community event that hosts over 5,000 people every year. In its 20th year, it serves as a fundraiser for Georgetown Village Restoration, Inc., the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Co., the Georgetown Community Association, and the Georgetown Lions Club.
